Here is the blog of Bonnie, another recruiter using various methods in the recruiting process.

Headlines in the recruiting Blog World

My peer Jim Stroud here in Atlanta just launched another webpage putting a snapshot of today's recruiting news on one page, he is calling it "The day in Recruiting" Pretty cool page, gives you a one page snapshot of several industry leaders blogs.
This guy is on top of it. His passion is intense using cutting edge technology.
I am looking forward to joining a organization soon to where I can use this site to assist in my recruiting efforts and to also help candidates in using technology to find their next career move.

Wow, I was added to a blogroll!

As I continue on my super duper learning curve and limited time of trying to learn this whole Blog technology, I received notification from Dennis Smith that he is adding me to his Blog roll. Cool! He has set the motivation for me to get going on this thing. Take a look at his blog, great structure, very centered around getting people to look at T-Mobile as a career. Also great content on what is happening in the Wireless community.

Job Central for the Job Seeker

I thought I would share something a peer gave me. Go to http://beta.jobcentral.com/ and as a job seeker you can use this beta tool to search multiple sites.
As I am currently seeking a new career or project, I used this tool yesterday and came up with several possibilities. Try it out, see what you think!

Facebook

On my way to work today, I heard a interview with the CEO of Facebook . He said it is now available to everyone. He mentioned they are not trying to be like MySpace.
It is just amazing how many different social networks there are. In my line of business, you have to stay aware of what is out there and what could be useful. I know there have been many a discussion on how to use these sights to find potential candidates. So I am not going to go there. This is a interesting time in the recruiting field. Just amazing how it changes on a quarterly basis with soucing ideas, etc. Good luck out there!

Peter Weddle

I had the opportunity to hear Peter Weddle speak this week. I have subscribed to his newsletter over the past year and was excited that he came to town to pass on his knowledge. Even though he spoke only about 30 minutes, he provided great insight on his take on several subjects involving job boards. I will have to look into buying some of his material for reference.
